This competition was held by Bina Nusantara University in collaboration with Skorates, a provider of education services based on information technology. Skorates supports both public and private schools in achieving digital transformation by offering innovative solutions that enhance learning, administration, and school management through technology. The competition aimed to encourage students to develop creative and impactful digital solutions that align with the vision of modernizing education in Indonesia.

The School Information System (Sokrates Apps) integrates student admission, LMS, e-raport, e-finance, e-asset, e-store, and e-library, while the digital content includes ICT areas like entrepreneurship, technopreneur, informatics, and applied computer projects (ACP), alongside non-ICT offerings such as core school subjects, Aleks, virtual lab, virtual reality, and robotics. Additionally, the Teacher Professional Development program features Merdeka Mengajar, custom modules, digital learning, and teacher training, supported by the School IT Infrastructure services, which encompass consultation, goods procurement, installation/implementation, and maintenance.

The academic testing platform includes a centralized system to organize and schedule various academic tests and assessments, and it facilitates test record results and analysis to deliver integrated, real-time insights.

🧩 PROTOTYPE
After defining the user persona, we had a clear direction to begin designing. I started working on the visual style, choosing calming green tones and a friendly, approachable design. We also introduced a “belief” category so if the user identifies as Christian, for example, the app can display relevant Bible verses tailored to their emotional state.
